Dave Dick

Executive Pastor

Pastor Dave and his wife, Mollee, began attending Canyon Lake Community Church when they moved into the area in 1992. Over the years, Dave served in many positions of leadership including multiple terms on the Church Council. In 2009, he accepted God's call to join the church staff as the Executive Director. After completing his education as a commissioned pastor with the RCA in 2015, his title has changed to Executive Pastor. Pastor Dave is the teaching pastor for the Classic, Contemporary and Traditional worship services each Sunday and serves on the Executive Leadership Team.

Bryan Pitotti

Pastor of Worship Arts

Responding to God's call to Canyon Lake Community Church, Bryan and his wife Amy moved their family into the area in 2005. His infectious enthusiasm for the Lord is evident as Bryan leads worship for the sanctuary services at CLCC. Aside from worship music, Bryan's varied interests in drama, videography, and graphic arts keep him very busy.

Bryan, Amy and their two teens often serve the Lord together, leading the congregation at Canyon Lake in worship.

Peter Van Dyke

Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Pete served as Senior Pastor for 39 years and stepped down from that position on January 10, 2016. He continues to serve the church and the community on a part-time basis with his primary responsibility being Congregational Care. This area of service involves visitation to those hospitalized or shut-in, officiating at weddings and funerals and leading the Bereavement Support Groups. He may be reached by calling the church office.

Pete and his wife, Pat, have two adult daughters and two grandchildren.

Jay Farwell

Student Ministries Pastor

Often accused of being a big kid himself, Jay brings a lot of fun to the role of Student Ministries Pastor. Since he came on staff in September 2006, Jay has had the privilege of seeing middle school and high school students make life-changing decisions for Christ. Although there's always plenty of laughs and fun when Jay's around, he is also an engaging communicator of God's Word.

When they're not running around with kids from Student Ministries, Jay and his wife Nikki are running around after their own four young children.

Brittany Youngquist

Director of Preschool and Early Family Ministry

As a part of Canyon Lake Community Church's overall vision for the future, plans were developed in 2008 to begin a community preschool. Brittany was thrilled by the possibility of teaching at her home church. Canyon Lake Community Church Preschool opened its doors to students in the fall of 2010 with Brittany on staff as a full-time preschool teacher. In 2011, Brittany accepted the position of assistant preschool director and as of the summer of 2013, she answered God's call to the position of preschool director. Brittany has a true passion for preschool age children and their overall development. Above all, Brittany is honored by the opportunity that she and the teaching staff have to daily show Christ's love to children and their families.

Brittany was born and raised in Canyon Lake and still resides in the area with her husband Ricky and her two Rottweilers.

Jennifer Sanchez

Director of Children's Ministries

Jennifer has attended Canyon Lake Community Church since 1997 after being invited by friends. Her passion for children quickly led her to becoming involved in Children’s Ministry. She volunteered in many Children’s Ministry Programs such as Nursery, VBS and MOPS. In 1999, she joined the CLCC staff as a childcare worker. She never dreamed that God would call her to the role of Children’s Ministry Director in 2015. Her desire is to see children and families passionately pursue Christ and come to the saving knowledge of who He is.

Jennifer lives in Menifee with her two girls, Kayla and Brooke.

Kristy Giardinelli

Executive Administrator

Kristy moved into the area in 1981 and by 1982, had become a member of Canyon Lake Community Church. Kristy didn't feel that she was "good enough" to attend church, let alone serve on the church staff, but God instilled in her an unquenchable passion. Challenged through Pastor Pete's preaching to use her talents and gifts to serve the Lord, Kristy soon became very involved - first as a volunteer ministry leader and ultimately in her current position as Office Administrator. Her passion for the body of Christ at CLCC combined with her managerial experience makes her an invaluable part of the church ministry staff.

Kristy, her husband John, and their two adult children all live in the area.
